Another notable personality has tasted the wrath of President Duterte’s anger. It came to the President’s knowledge that the UN High Commissioner Prince of Jordan Zeid Ra’ad said that he should undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
In a speech that the president delivered when he visited the soldiers in Western Mindanao Command in Zamboanga City, he shared how the United Nations (UN) on Human Rights misunderstood when he said to “destroy the apparatus” regarding his war on drugs.
“Ang sabi ko sa law enforcement pati sa inyo, destroy the organizations of the drug syndicates. Destroy the apparatus. Destroying is physically dismantling structure or killing people. Saan ka makakita drug campaign to destroy tapos wala ka…”
Earlier, the president ordered the police to not answer any queries to them about the drug war. He said that as their commander-in-chief, he will be the one to answer all questions.
The president reiterated that because the war on drug is a serious matter, you can’t just throw away statements because everything can be used against you.
And that is for a reason, legal. That is provided for in the Constitution itself, our Constitution.”
